What we do

Why patients from Sherman Oaks drive over.

  1. Everything in one building

General, cosmetic, restorative and specialist care share the same corridor, so treatment that would normally be split across two offices is finished in this one.

  2. A price before it starts

You see the plan on screen and the cost in writing before anything is decided. All PPO plans are accepted, and financing covers what they do not.

  3. Scanning, not putty

Digital X-rays, CT scanning and 5D imaging. The technology is here for one reason: to show you what we are looking at, and to plan precisely.

Getting here from Sherman Oaks

Van Nuys Boulevard north out of Sherman Oaks, about four miles, and the practice is on the corner of Sylvan Street. Parking is free and on site, so there is no circling for a space the way there is on Ventura Boulevard.

Appointments start at 8:30am, and Friday runs to 4:30pm, which suits patients who would rather be seen before the 101 fills up. Urgent problems are seen the same day whenever the schedule allows.

Before you set off:

  • 6301 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401
  • Mon–Thu 8:30am–6:00pm · Fri to 4:30pm
  • Free parking on site, ground-floor accessible entrance

Cosmetic dentistry for Sherman Oaks patients

Cosmetic work here starts with a digital scan rather than a mold: you see the shape of your teeth on screen, and the finished result beside it, before anything is decided. Then you get the price, in writing, for the whole plan.

Whitening lifts staining in a single visit. Bonding rebuilds a chipped edge in one appointment. Veneers reface the front teeth when shape and color both need work, and clear aligners straighten teeth without brackets. Which of those you actually need is what the first appointment settles.

Restorative work, without a second address

When a tooth is broken, decayed or missing, restorative dentistry puts the function back before the damage spreads. A filling for decay, a crown for a tooth that is breaking down, a bridge or an implant where a tooth has gone, dentures where several have.

Because general, cosmetic, restorative and specialist care all happen in this one building, most of a Sherman Oaks patient's treatment stays here. Root canals are done by the practice's own endodontist, and the crown that follows is fitted in the same office.

  • Tooth-colored fillings that match the enamel around them
  • Crowns for a tooth that is cracked, worn or heavily filled
  • Bridges and implants for teeth that are missing
  • Full and partial dentures, including implant-retained
  • Root canals with an endodontist on site

Preventive care is the cheap half

Almost everything above is avoidable, and the way to avoid it is dull: an exam and a cleaning on schedule, X-rays for what the eye cannot reach, and brushing and flossing done properly in between. After 35, gum disease takes more teeth than cavities do.

A Sherman Oaks patient's first visit is usually the $99 new patient exam: ninety minutes with a hygienist and a doctor, X-rays and a 5D scan included, no insurance required.

In their own words.

I had a very positive experience at this dental office. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The doctor explained everything clearly, answered my questions patiently, and made the treatment process much less stressful than I expected.
