General Dentistry

The everyday work of a dental office. Fillings, night guards and same-day emergency care, plus the scanners that find decay before you can feel it.

What this covers

What general dentistry covers.

A patient smiling during a routine check-up

General dentistry is the broadest part of the practice: the exam, the cleaning, the X-rays and the diagnostics that catch a problem while it is still small. The hygiene plan is written around your mouth, not a template.

Many people only come in when something hurts. Regular visits are what stop that: decay and gum disease found early are quicker, cheaper and far less painful to treat. Twice a year suits most people, though some need more.

Abnormalities in the mouth can be the first sign of illness elsewhere in the body. Where something needs a specialist, ours already work here, so most treatment stays in-house.

Why here

The three things patients ask first.

On-site specialists.

An endodontist, hygienists and restorative doctors all work in this building, so most treatment stays in-house.

Insurance, accepted.

We Accept ALL PPO Insurances, and we handle the paperwork with them.

Priced up front.

Every service is quoted before we start it. No surprises on the way out.

From a patient

I love all the dentists here, every single person did a good job with my teeth and they were very nice. The office is very organized and every time I come they are able to take me in earlier than my appointment.

Common questions

Answering your dental care questions.

What does general dentistry include?

Cleanings and oral examinations, fillings, extractions, oral cancer screening, root canal treatment, sealants, TMJ treatment, night guards and dentures.

How often should I come in?

Twice a year suits most people. Some need more to stay ahead of problems, and everyone should come at least once a year.

Manual toothbrush or electric?

Research puts the two about equal. Technique matters more, and we'll show you how to brush and floss effectively at your cleaning.

How long is the recovery after treatment?

It depends on the treatment and the number of teeth involved. Most are same-day: a single filling or bonding, and you go straight back to your routine.
